Riding for My Room Children's Cancer Charity.

WHERE YOUR RIDE BECOMES REAL SUPPORT FOR REAL FAMILIES

Our journey of riding for a cause began in 2016, supporting Simone, who was battling a brain tumour. In 2017, we rode for Camp Quality, bringing hope and joy to children affected by cancer, and in 2018, we rode for Sarah, who was born with a disability.

This year, we’re proud to ride for My Room Children’s Cancer Charity — a volunteer-led organisation committed to supporting children with cancer and the families who stand beside them. My Room provides practical financial assistance, specialised clinical care, emotional support, and funds life-changing research and innovative treatments. They act quickly, cutting through red tape to deliver help where it’s needed most, giving children a stronger chance at recovery and families hope when they need it most.

Every kilometre we ride helps children fight cancer and families stay strong through their toughest battles. Together, we can make a real difference — turning hope into action, and support into results.

RIDE PLAN


Each day the ride will begin at 7:30 am, departing from Bright Brewery, 121 Great Alpine Road, Bright VIC 3741.


• Day 1: Bright to Falls Creek return — 118 km (short option: 70 km)
• Day 2: Bright to Mt Hotham return — 108 km (short option: 70 km)
• Day 3: Bright to Mt Buffalo return — 65 km (short option: 40 km) -
Wrapping up the ride with a celebration at Bright Brewery!

ACCOMMODATION

Every person is responsible for organising their own accommodation for this event

It is advised to arrive to Bright on the Thursday night as we start riding at 7.30 am Friday

RIDERS COMMITMENT

• Each rider is asked to raise a minimum of $3,000.
• We will create a personalised fundraising page for you and provide step-by-step instructions so you can begin raising funds straight away.


We encourage fitness groups, gyms, and cycling clubs to register. Use this event as a goal, a meaningful cause that supports your health, builds community, and allows you to make a real difference while getting fitter and stronger.
